Jennifer Patterson is an accomplished Human Resources executive with over 15 years of experience. Jennifer’s notable career includes Longboard Pharmaceuticals. As Vice President and Head of Human Resources at Longboard Pharmaceuticals, she played a key role in expanding the company’s global presence by 300%, successfully advancing into phase 3 trials, and leading the company’s acquisition by Lundbeck Pharmaceuticals for $2.6 billion in December 2024.
Before transitioning to HR, Jennifer brought a unique perspective from her role as a Marriage and Family Therapist. She holds a master’s degree in counseling psychology from California State University, Bakersfield, and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Arkansas Tech University. Jennifer has further enhanced her skills with professional certifications, including the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) from the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI), as well as the Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) designation from the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
Currently, Jennifer serves as the Vice President of Human Resources at Contineum Therapeutics, a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company specializing in the NI&I space by developing precision small molecules aimed at altering the course of clinical impairment.
